Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning to spend a few pleasant hours in the beautiful beaches of Calabria (private beach or Lido Affi liated). Afternoon transfer on your own car to Pizzo Calabro and visit the Church of Piedigrotta, a church near the Sea built inside a rock wall. Visit Murat Castle and walk in the city center of Pizzo, where you can taste the famous “Tartufo” a typical ice cream of the area, famous and exported all over the world. Return to the hotel. Dinner on your own and overnight stay at your hotel accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by car on your own to Scilla, where you can visit Chianalea, a fishing village built near the sea, consisting of small houses and shelters for boats. Possibility to have lunch at a place by the sea in a nearby restaurant. Transfer to Reggio Calabria where you can visit the Archaeological Museum, home to the Riace Bronzes, bronze statues found at the bottom of the sea in 1972 and recently restored. You will enjoy a pleasant walk along the main street, Corso Garibaldi and Via Marina, defined by the poet and writer Gabriele D’Annunzio “the most beautiful kilometre in Italy “. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by car on your own to the old town of Gallicianò, located among the green hills of Aspromonte. Gallicianò is one of the last bastions of ancient Greek culture, in which the ancient language of Grecanico is still used today. After exploring the city, lunch in a typical local restaurant with typical Calabrian music, Tarantella, as a backdrop. In the evening, arrival and check-in at the hotel in the area of Catanzaro Lido. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by car on your own to Locri, visit the archaeological site of the famous Greek colony “Locri Epizephiri”, founded in the 8th century B.C. Then transfer to Gerace, a mediaeval jewel, one of the most valuable historical centres of Calabria. Walk around the city to then taste products with bergamot, a fruit known since the sixteenth century that grows only in the area of Reggio Calabria. Then continue towards Stilo, the mediaeval town. Visit the Cattolica, a unique Byzantine monument and the best preserved Norman castle in Calabria. Return to the hotel on your own. Dinner on your own and accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by car on your own to Le Castella, a popular holiday village, where the local castle of Aragon is located on an island connected to the mainland. Later transfer to Santa Severina, walk through the sleepy town located on the hill, dominated by the Norman castle. Add charm to the streets with small bars and cafes, the walls of the old fortifications, where you can admire the beautiful view of the surroundings. Then drive to the town of Crotone, built approximately in 710 BC. where the philosophical school of Pythagoras was founded, there is the picturesque promontory of Capo Colonna, and you can visit the interesting archaeological area that was once an important place of worship of the goddess Hera. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by car on your own to Cosenza, an important cultural centre in the region. Walk through the picturesque and mediaeval historic centre located on the hill of Pancrazio. Visit the beautiful Cathedral and then the city park of Villa Vecchia. Walk along the city’s main street, Corso Mazzini, with its elegant shops and cafes. Free time, during which it is worth visiting the historic Gran Caffè Ranzelli, inaugurated in 1803.
