Optional excursion: Etna, the highest volcano in Europe

Etna, the most active volcano on Earth, the good giant or simply “A Muntagna” as the inhabitants of Catania call it: one of the most fascinating tourist attractions in eastern Sicily has many names and has become an emblem of the entire the region. During the excursion it is possible to see many unusual and very suggestive views: lava fields formed by recent or ancient flows, towns destroyed by eruptions, extinct craters, the impressive caldera of the Valle del Bove. Unmissable visit to the island of Ortigia, the heart of splendid Syracuse, an area rich in freshwater springs and centuries of history. Then the beautiful city of Noto, better known as the "capital of baroque" and loved by visitors from all over the world, Noto offers incredible attractions. Art, history, culture and incredible beauty come together to create its most hidden streets, its imposing palaces and its wonderful squares. Finally transfer to the hotel in Ragusa. Accommodation.

After breakfast, departure and visit of Erice, a splendid medieval town located in the mountains with incredible views of the coast and offering the most romantic sunsets on the island. The Erice Cathedral and the Venus Castle are the most emblematic monuments of the place. During the visit you cannot miss the tasting of “Genovese”, a typical dessert from Erice.
