  •  10:30–13:00 Accommodation in a colonial  house with gardens and social terraces. Rooms with historic charm and handcrafted décor. Shared spaces, homemade breakfast included and great central location.

 

  • 13:00–15:30 Welcome lunch at home-dining room of ancestral cuisine. Menu prepared by local women in a wood-fired oven. Common table with handmade crockery and typical natural drinks.

 

  • 15:30–19:30 Integration afternoon in the historic center. Walk through cobblestone streets, monuments and colonial churches. Secret visit to a community library in an old church. Group presentation dynamics in a viewpoint overlooking the Agua Volcano.


  •  19:30–20:30 Homemade dinner at the accommodation. Traditional Guatemalan dinner in a cozy setting.

 

  • 20:30–22:00 Cultural activity: presentation of marimba and local legends. Live music and legendary Guatemalan stories.

  • 08:00–09:00 Breakfast with fresh fruit and homemade bread. Homemade breakfast on the terrace or garden of the accommodation. Tropical fruits, artisan bread and coffee from the region.

 

  • 09:00–09:30 Transfer to a rural village on the outskirts. Travel by private vehicle (30 minutes approx.) with introduction to the community project.

 

  • 09:30–13:00 Volunteer day in the local community. Support in community organic garden and composting tasks. Painting and renovation of school furniture together with local families. Dynamics of games with children, storytelling and intercultural educational activities.


  •  13:00–15:30 Collective lunch with the women's cooperative. Traditional food cooked over wood, with fresh ingredients from the garden. Served on banana leaves, at shared tables outdoors. Space for spontaneous conversation with the host women.

 

  • 15:30–18:30 Afternoon of learning and symbolic closing. Chocolate making workshop: from the cocoa bean to the bar. Participation in a symbolic Mayan closing ceremony, guided by local leaders.

 

  • 19:00–20:30 Dinner in a rustic restaurant with interior patio and candlelight. Intimate atmosphere, traditional menu with contemporary touches.

 

  • 20:30–22:00 Group discussion and reflective activity. Space to share experiences, learnings and emotions of the day.

  • 08:00–09:00 Typical Guatemalan breakfast. Traditional breakfast with beans, fried plantain, eggs, queso fresco, and freshly made corn tortillas. Accompanied by natural juices and local coffee.

 

  • 09:00–09:30 Departure to San Juan del Obispo. Transfer by private vehicle to this town at the foot of the volcano.

 

  • 09:30–11:30 Visit to a cooperative of women weavers. Exclusive access to a Mayan textile workshop not open to conventional tourism. Direct interaction with artisans: explanation of natural dyeing, symbolic design and use of the backstrap loom. Hands-on guided experience to understand hand-woven cultural heritage.

 

  • 11:30–13:00 Free time for conscious shopping. Direct support to local production companies. Handmade textiles, artisanal chocolate, natural balms and cosmetics from medicinal plants.

 

  • 13:00–15:00 Lunch in a community dining room surrounded by a medicinal garden. Recipes passed down from generation to generation. Traditional cuisine without electricity or gas, everything prepared on the fire. Shared table in an environment full of aromas and knowledge.

 

  • 15:00–18:00 Exchange workshop: making natural balms with plants. Workshop guided by wise women from the community. Preparation of ointments based on beeswax, herbs and local oils. Space for intercultural dialogue on health, body and territory.

 

  • 18:00–20:00 Dinner on a panoramic terrace with a view of the volcanoes. Seasonal menu with local ingredients, served at sunset. Spectacular views of the Panchoy Valley at dusk.

 

  • 20:00–22:00 Campfire night, with live music and shared testimonies. Meeting around the fire with local sounds, life stories and group connection.

 

  • 22:00–Overnight in Antigua Guatemala. Return to the colonial accommodation for rest.

  • 06:30–09:30 Early breakfast and departure to Lake Atitlan. Light breakfast at the accommodation before departure. Travel by private vehicle to the lake. Scenic route with views of volcanoes and Guatemalan highlands.

 

  • 09:30–10:30 Sail on the lake to San Juan La Laguna. Private boat through the waters of Lake Atitlan. First contact with the serenity of the natural and cultural environment.

 

  • 10:30–13:00 Visit to a self-sustaining ecovillage. Tour of organic agriculture projects, adobe construction, gray water management and composting. Access to a meditation space among coffee plantations, guided by local leaders. Conversations on community autonomy and Mayan spirituality.

 

  • 13:00–15:00 Lunch in an ecological dining room in front of the lake. Vegetarian menu with agroecological ingredients. Clay dishes, filtered water and natural juices. Direct view of the lake, under the shade of native trees.

 

  • 15:00–16:30 Meditation and grounding workshop. Guided activity with breathing techniques, conscious silence and visualization. Space to reconnect with oneself and with the energy of the environment.

 

  • 16:30–19:00 Visit to a local coffee plantation. Guided walk among coffee plantations. Explanation of the artisanal process: from harvesting to roasting. Tasting of fresh coffee in a natural and intimate setting.


  • 19:00–20:30 Dinner in a torchlighted garden. Warm and simple dinner with local products. Cozy atmosphere under the stars.

 

  • 20:30–22:00 Group activity: "Word Circle" under the stars. Space to share learning, emotions and experiences of the day. Facilitated by local guides in an environment of trust and listening.

 

  • 22:00– Overnight at an eco-hotel by the lake. Night in a room with a view of the water and natural materials.

  • 09:00–11:30 Visit to the most traditional indigenous market in Guatemala. Tour among stalls of handicrafts, masks, textiles and ritual products. Group activity: guided search with cultural exploration challenge. Authentic encounters with local vendors and festive atmosphere.


  •  11:30–13:30 Special visit to the Mayan altar in the multicolored cemetery. Accompaniment of a local spiritual guide Introduction to syncretic Mayan rituals. Deep understanding of contemporary indigenous spirituality.

 

  • 13:30–15:30 Lunch at the family home converted into a dining room. Kitchen run by mother and daughter, with inherited recipes. Stories and traditions shared around the table. Dishes served with warmth and a sense of community.

 

  • 16:00–18:30 Return to Antigua Guatemala. Transfer by private vehicle. Time for rest and preparation for the evening.

  • 08:00–09:00 Farewell at the colonial house with a homemade breakfast on the terrace. Opportunity to exchange closing words, group photographs and last moments of contemplation in the garden. Check-out assisted by the host team.


  • 09:00–10:30 Private transfer to La Aurora International Airport. Private vehicle with assistance and cultural accompaniment on the way. Estimated transfer time: 1 hour and 30 minutes. Enough time to enjoy the final landscape of the volcanoes and share memories between travelers.


  • 11:00-International flight back home. Assistance at the airport for the boarding process. End of the transformative experience in Guatemala. I return home with a heart full of stories, bonds and lessons learned during the journey.
