Arrival at Naples airport and transfer to the hotel. Free time. At 6:00 pm meet the tour leader at the reception.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Puglia. Before reaching Bari, stop to visit the Castle of Monte Andria, a place of secrets and magic, an ancient 13th century building built by Frederick II, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, as well as one of the greatest symbolic sites of Puglia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then transfer and accommodation at the hotel.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION Bari Vecchia, the heart of the city of Bari

Bari Vecchia is a place where time seems to stand still in its simplicity and authenticity. Walking through the narrow streets of this district, you can breathe the air of history, tradition and customs passed down from generation to generation. The style of the buildings in the old town reflects the interweaving of the different eras that have characterized the architecture and daily life of this place.

After breakfast, departure for Polignano a Mare, a wonderful medieval village situated on a high and steep coastline. A walk to discover the narrow streets of the village, between white houses and terraces overlooking the sea that offer a unique and unforgettable panorama. We continue to Monopoli, known as the city of a hundred districts. Stroll through the charming old town center, with its wonderful Baroque cathedral and its promenade. Return to the hotel.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION: Polignano Caves by boat

A boat trip of approximately 2 hours with boarding and disembarking at the small port of San Vito in Polignano a Mare. The excursion includes a visit to the main caves and the most evocative views that characterize the Polignano coast. It also includes a stop for swimming in one of the places admired during the tour.

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Alberobello with its monumental trulli village dating back to the mid-16th century and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique architecture and historical importance. In the afternoon we continue to Locorotondo, which attracts its visitors with the white colour that seems to envelop everything, with the colour of the flowers and plants that protrude from the balconies of the houses. Locorotondo, despite being so small, attracts attention with the harmony of each of its parts, with the intimacy and grace it expresses: a city of light, all white, which dominates the valley from which it rises. Finally, transfer to the hotel in Lecce.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will spend the day discovering Lecce, known as the Baroque capital of southern Italy. A cultural and historical centre that hides ancient buildings of singular beauty, built over the centuries with the so-called “Lecce stone”. Squares, palaces, amphitheatres, sculptures carved in stone and inserted with great harmony in the urban context that, in the words of Thomas Ashe who visited it in the 18th century, is “the most beautiful city in Italy”. A visit to the Basilica of Santa Croce, with the adjacent Palace of the Celestines, the former Convent of the Celestine Fathers, where art in a magnificent triumph reaches the highest level of aesthetic expression, and the Duomo of Lecce located in the heart of its historic centre, within the square of the same name, is a must. During the excursion, lunch with typical dishes of the local cuisine. Free time and the opportunity for lovers of culture and art, who love to walk, to discover other beauties and typical places of Lecce.

After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Ostuni, also known as the White City for its characteristic historic center. A walk through the old town offers picturesque views of alleys, steep stairs, courtyards and small squares dominated by white houses, artisan workshops, typical restaurants and small shops. After the visit, transfer to your hotel in Bari.

Expect a full meal, or even more! The Bari Food Tour allows you to experience the city like a true local. A local cuisine expert will take you to taste the best typical dishes in establishments known only to locals. Get ready for an engaging gastronomic experience in a relaxing atmosphere!

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the oldest cities in the world, where history, culture and nature meet and merge to create a place rich in impressive scenery and corners. Visit the Sassi, an ancient settlement built into the rock. A tangle of caves used as homes, winding alleys, rock churches, terraces, gardens and underground passages make the Sassi a spectacular example of an architectural complex perfectly adapted to its natural environment. Continue to Naples and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast and transfer to the station to take the train to Calabria. Transfer to the hotel in the Tropea area.

After breakfast, visit Pizzo Calabro, a quiet town perched on a hill overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Imposing cliffs create an idyllic atmosphere, while the Aragonese castle and medieval churches tell the story of local culture and history. Walk through the centre and taste the famous “Tartufo di Pizzo” ice cream. Then transfer to Tropea “the City of the Turquoise Sea”, with its white beaches interrupted by cliffs, the ancient noble palaces with their majestic portals overlooking the sea. Visit its lively and colourful historic centre rich in local art and crafts. Return to the hotel.

Breakfast and departure from the hotel to Scilla with its famous Ruffo Castle, a fortification with mysterious origins that dominates the small town and guarantees a spectacular view, the churches and many prestigious works that characterize its historic center and Chianalea, the oldest and most suggestive part of Scilla. A magical place of restaurants on stilts, small boats that can be glimpsed from every alley and fishermen's houses bathed by crystal-clear waters. Lunch at leisure and transfer to Reggio Calabria to admire the famous Riace Bronzes and the other treasures kept in the National Archaeological Museum, one of the most representative museums of Magna Graecia in Calabria, the Falcomatà seafront, one of the most beautiful in Italy, with Villa Genoese Zerbi and the gigantic statues of Rabarama. Then, the Duomo, the Castle and the shopping streets. After the visit, return to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, discovery of the Aeolian Islands: Vulcano, Lipari and Stromboli. Wild beauty, pure and unspoiled nature make this archipelago not only one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean, but also a real tourist destination. Return to the hotel.
