Description

Get ready for an incredible journey through the most charming villages of the Spanish geography, where history, culture and nature merge in an unforgettable experience. Each stop will take you to discover the secrets of ancient fortresses, historic churches and breathtaking landscapes, wrapped in the magic of places that seem frozen in time.

We start in Mombeltrán, an idyllic village located at the foot of the Sierra de Gredos, where the imposing figure of the Renaissance castle of the fifteenth century dominates the landscape. This place is a paradise for nature lovers, with its hiking trails between mountains and fresh air. In the evening, the tranquility of the rural accommodation will allow you to relax before enjoying dinner in a typical restaurant, where traditional flavors enhance the charm of the region.

On the second day, after an early breakfast, you will continue exploring the treasures of Mombeltrán, from the Church of San Juan Bautista, with its Churrigueresque altarpiece and the Chapel of San Andrés, to the labyrinthine streets of the old town, which preserve the medieval essence. Later, you will arrive in Piedralaves, where religious monuments, such as the Parish Church and the Lovers' Cross, blend into the natural landscape, creating an atmosphere of serenity. The day's adventure ends with a delicious traditional dinner.

The third day invites you to explore more of Piedralaves. A pleasant nature tour will take you along the Piotea Route, where the natural environment will take your breath away. Then, in La Adrada, you will discover the 13th-century Castle and its fascinating Historical Interpretation Centre. The region's cuisine will be a delight, with its traditional dishes prepared with care in local restaurants.

On the fourth day, you will continue exploring La Adrada, and history will live on in its streets and medieval castle. From there, you will continue to El Tiemblo, surrounded by an unparalleled natural environment. The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción and the Monastery of San Jerónimo are just the prelude to what awaits you: the magical Castañar de El Tiemblo, a forest where nature surrounds you with its millenary charm.

On the fifth day, in El Tiemblo, the legends of the Guisando Bulls will transport you to pre-Roman times, while the Castañar will give you moments of tranquility among its centenary trees. After an invigorating walk, you will head to Madrigal de las Altas Torres, birthplace of Isabel the Catholic. This small town encloses centuries of history, from its imposing wall to the Palace of Juan II, witnesses of a golden age.

Finally, the last day in Madrigal de las Altas Torres will be an immersion in the grandeur of the past. You will walk through the church of San Nicolás de Bari and discover the majesty of the medieval walls that protect the town. You will end the trip by visiting the Bodega de los Frailes, a place where time seems to have stopped, and where local wines will give you a farewell with a taste of history.

This trip is much more than just a tourist route; It is a journey that will make you feel part of the ancient kingdoms, between historical monuments, natural landscapes and the warm hospitality of the magical towns.
