Have an early breakfast and go out to discover Mazarrón. We start by visiting the impressive Gredas de Bolnuevo. The rock formations were even more spectacular than we imagined, and as we walked through the area, we felt the fresh air and calm of this unique place. Afterwards, we continued walking towards the Torre de los Caballos, a historic construction that transported us to the times when the coast needed defense against pirates. From there, we enjoy wonderful views of the sea before heading to the center of Mazarrón. Upon arriving at the center, we strolled through the charming streets and stopped at St . Andrew's Church. Its Mudejar coffered ceiling left us fascinated, and made us think about how much history is hidden in this corner of the world. We also took the opportunity to visit the Archaeological Museum, where we learned about the Roman and mining heritage of the area. In the afternoon, we head to the Port of Mazarrón to enjoy a relaxing walk along the Paseo Marítimo. Walking by the sea, we feel the sea breeze and let ourselves be carried away by the calm and pleasant atmosphere. The next stop was the Playa de la Isla, where we went to see the famous Phoenician ship. It was exciting to learn more about the rich maritime history of this region. It is a charming village located in the province of Albacete, in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Surrounded by mountains and impressive landscapes of the Sierra del Segura, through which streams, rivers and waterfalls flow. Bogarra was the ancient Bigerra, a city in the province of Bastetania. During the first Punic Wars between Romans and Carthaginians, it allied with Rome, and although the Carthaginians managed to recover it, it was definitively Roman back in 214 BC. thanks to General Scipio. After a wonderful night you will go down to breakfast because you have to regain strength for the day ahead. Today we set off to discover the treasures of Bogarra. We will start with the visit of the Church of the Assumption, a baroque style building of the sixteenth century, with some reforms in the eighteenth century, in the place where the original Christian fortification of the current town of Bogarra should have been. Composed of a single nave, with a sober exterior and without ornaments. Next, we will hike through the Batán Waterfall. A natural spectacle located in a wooded environment, its crystal clear waters fall in the form of a waterfall, creating a calm and refreshing atmosphere. Surrounded by lush vegetation, the waterfall invites nature lovers to enjoy breathtaking scenery and immerse themselves in its crystal clear waters. We will finish the visit with the Route of the Viewpoints. These observation points offer panoramic views of its natural surroundings and historic architecture. Have an early breakfast and set off to discover Aýna. We start by visiting the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios and the Church of Santa María de lo Alto. Next, we will follow the course of the Mundo River, contemplating wonderful views of the town and discovering part of its flora and fauna, we will be able to walk through the fertile plain where all kinds of vegetables and fruit trees are grown with a system of terraces and irrigation of Muslim origin, as well as finding a corner in the river where we can take a dip. It presents a Gothic style within military architecture, it is not a residential palace, but a defensive fortress for the control of the domains of the nearby environment. It has a 25-meter-deep moat, which was excavated with a pick on the rock. We continue to the Church of Santa María del Salvador. A magnificent construction from the Christian period after the conquest of the city from the Muslims. The most important century of its construction is at the beginning of the fourteenth century, although it would begin at the end of the thirteenth century. Next, we will visit Plaza de la Mancha, the important nerve center of the city, due to its enclave and location. Have an early breakfast and go out to discover Carcelén. We start with a visit to the Castle of Carcelén. Built in the fourteenth-fifteenth century and located in the centre of the town centre. It is characterized by a large tower, "TORRE DEL HOMENAJE", with a square floor plan, topped at its four corners by four towers and preserves its military structure along with the battlements. Next, we will visit the Parish of San Andrés Apóstol. It is a sober construction of fundamentally neoclassical taste, which began to be built in the sixteenth century. Apparently, on a previous structure whose walls were partly respected and was renovated in the eighteenth century. It has a rectangular floor plan with three naves separated by square pillars and pilasters attached to the fronts. The dryland landscape dotted with vineyards of La Font de la Figuera has a special charm, you cannot miss the most spectacular viewpoint of this municipality, the top of Capurutxo, the highest peak in the region. This unique museum, located in an old 18th century winery known as Les Masseretes, is a treasure that captures the essence of the wine-growing past and the traditions rooted throughout the Valencian Community. Inside, you will discover one of the most authentic testimonies of the traditional winemaking process. The ancient underground jars, carefully preserved, tell us about times when skill and knowledge came together to create this delicious and ancient drink. Tools and machines used in this craft, meticulously arranged, will transport you to a time when each stage of winemaking was an art in itself. Have an early breakfast and go out to discover Montesa. We start by visiting the Castle of Montesa. In 1319, Jaume II donated the old Islamic castle to become the headquarters of the military order of Santa María de Montesa, thus transforming it into one of the strongest castles in the kingdom of Valencia. It housed the Sacred Convent of the Institution, all of which was affected by a strong earthquake in 1748, you can admire its fantastic Gothic chapter house and other rooms. Next, we will visit the Church of l'Assumpció, presiding over the Plaza de La Vila. It is an austere Baroque temple with a single nave with chapels between buttresses. It is interesting to visit the chapel of the virgin that follows the Valencian baroque ornamental guidelines and to see its pictorial altarpieces from the sixteenth century. We will end the tour by visiting the Oil Museum. Installed in an old oil mill, it preserves the old machinery and all the necessary tools for the extraction of olive oil. Have an early breakfast and set off to discover Simat de la Valldigna. We start with the Monastery of Santa María de la Valldigna. In Cistercian style, it was founded in 1298 by King Jaime II El Justo and was inhabited until 1835, when Mendizábal was confiscated. Next, we will visit the Chapel of the Mare de Déu de Gràcia. Baroque in style, it is part of the architectural complex of the Monastery. It is located outside the walls, next to the Portal Nou, and dates from the eighteenth century. Its architraves door of pink marble and above it the coat of arms of the lordship of La Valldigna stand out. Have an early breakfast and head out to discover Nules and Mascarell. We start by visiting the Roman Villa of Benicató. It is an important Roman villa that was both an agricultural exploitation and a residence. It is located on the outskirts of the city, among the current orange orchards, about two and a half kilometres from the current coastline. The remains found indicate that they would have been inhabited between the first century B.C. and the fourth century A.D., having their period of splendor in the second century A.D. Next, we will visit La Capilla de La Soledad. It is a beautiful example of Rococo architecture in the Valencian Community, of measured and slender proportions. Of note are the rockeries that adorn both the arches and the vault and the dome, as well as the allegorical reliefs to four painful passages in the life of the Virgin. In the central niche an image of the Virgin of Solitude, from the end of the seventeenth century, is venerated. We continue visiting 2 Museums in Nules: The Enrique Giner Medal Museum: It was created in 1995 and is installed in the old hermitage of San Miguel, from the eighteenth century. It is the only museum in Spain dedicated to this art. And the Museum of History of Nules: Installed in the old Church of the Blood, from the end of the sixteenth century.
