Day 1: Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel, from Medellin rest of the day free.
Day 2: Spend an excellent getting to know the places that have been icons in different in Medellin, to understand how the city became from Villa in City, after a period marked by social exclusion, became the most dangerous city in the world and after understanding our mistakes we were considered the most innovative city in the world, After picking you up at the Hotel, the first visit begins, arriving at the Pueblito Paisa, from there, besides recognizing geographically the Aburra Valley and seeing a replica of a typical village of the region, you will know how the territory was inhabited before the arrival of the Spaniards. The city center is the next visit where the growth and transformation from Villa to City of Medellin is evidenced, there we pass by the San Antonio Park, San Ignacio Square, the traditional Avenida La Playa, the mansions and mansions of the Prado neighborhood, the Metropolitan Church, one of the symbols of the strength of the paisa (The Coltejer Building). The tour continues through the renovated and transformed North Zone, where we pass by the Parque de los Deseos, La Casa de la Música, El Parque Explora, La Universidad de Antioquia, and the Botanical Garden, and then continue to the west of the city, passing by Punto Cero, La Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot where most of the sports practiced in the city take place, as well as the Centro de Convenciones La Macarena, the former Plaza de Toros. The last stop is at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center and the Palacio de Exposiciones, main axes of the tourist vocation of the city, from there you can visit the Metropolitan Theater, the Intelligent Building of Empresas Públicas de Medellín, Parques del Rio and the Parque de los Pies Descalzos (Barefoot Park). When resuming the tour also passes through the Alpujarra where the government offices of the Mayor of Medellin and the Government of Antioquia, the Plaza de la Libertad, the Parque de las Luces and the Library of Empresas Publicas de Medellin are located. The tour also includes a visit to the Poblado area, where we will visit the Poblado Park, Lleras Park and the Golden Mile, the financial and hotel heart of the city.
Day 3: The Municipality of Guatapé and La Piedra del Peñol are 2 of the most important tourist places in the surroundings of Medellin, located approximately 2 hours from the city, they become one of the most visited places by tourists and the same inhabitants of the city, for the fantastic countryside landscape, which contrasts with a stone of great height (297 mts.) in the middle of a dam that generates much of the country's electricity and one of the most picturesque villages in the country. After a journey of 1 hour and 30 minutes we pass through the new town of El Peñol, a fundamental starting point to learn about the past, present and future of this beautiful area, we continue with the visit to the majestic Piedra del Peñol where we will have a panoramic view of the Guatapé - Peñol reservoir and those who wish can climb to the top of the Piedra del Peñol in a journey of more than 600 steps (ascent not included).
We will continue with a visit to the town of Guatapé famous for the details of the sockets of its houses, where we will take a tour in Mototaxi through its streets, in Guatapé you can additionally have time to take a tour in a typical boat (not included), enjoy the beautiful scenery flying over the dam on the cable flight (not included) or simply enjoy the craft stalls and the life of the boardwalk of Guatapé.
