DAY 01: OXAPAMPA IN – CITY TOUR

Reception and transfer to the hotel. You will begin the tour by entering El Tirolés to observe an Oxapampina cultural demonstration through its beautiful typical dances and you will also be able to learn to dance with them, and also taste some artisanal products. Next, you will move to Chontabamba to visit the Dairy Plant, in this place you will observe part of the cheese making process and taste these delicacies. Continuing with the tour, you will arrive at the La Florida viewpoint to appreciate the scenic beauty that surrounds the city of Oxapampa. You will live a mystical experience entering La Tunki Cave to observe the geological formations and experience the sensation of being underground. You will then enter the El Wharapo distillery to learn all about the artisanal process of making sugarcane liquor and traditional guarapo (typical drinks of the area) and you will be able to taste some of the same factory. On the way back you will enter the Casa de las Artesanías, a place where the culture and experiences of the local population are expressed through beautiful handmade works of art. You can also wear the typical Oxapampa clothing to take beautiful selfies. Finally, you will enter the center of the Chontabamba district to appreciate the beauty of its park and its very old church. DAY 02: AUSTRO-GERMAN COLONY OF POZUZO

Breakfast. This unique experience begins by leaving for the Austro-German Colony of Pozuzo, enjoying beautiful livestock landscapes and pure nature for 2 hours. Following the route, you will see two beautiful waterfalls called Rayantambo and Torrebamba waterfalls. You will cross 17 km of the Yanachaga Chemillen National Park, this section is spectacular for its abundant flora and some fauna; sometimes you can see some wild animals crossing the road, in this section you will take a short walk to breathe the pure and renewing air of this wonderful place. You will arrive at the Yulitunqui waterfall, whose attraction is the color of its waters and fresh breeze. Upon arriving in Pozuzo, you will take a brief city tour visiting: The main square of Pozuzo, the Cemetery of the Colonists, the San José Church, the Hanging Bridge and the Emperor Guillermo I. On the way back to the city, you will visit a craft beer factory, where you will learn about the processes of its production. In the afternoon, you will move to the Chancarizo Bajo hamlet to visit the Salt Water Spring, known for its medicinal properties, where you will enjoy a refreshing bath in its crystal-clear waters. Before starting your return, you will go to the Prusia neighborhood to see its large park and its attractive church with a very peculiar architectural design. On the way back to Oxapampa, you will be able to see the national bird of Peru, “The Cock of the Rocks.” Return. Accommodation in Oxapampa.

DAY 03: OXAPAMPA OUT

Breakfast. Free day to do personal activities. At the scheduled time, transfer to the station to board the bus to Lima.
